Residential construction redefined
The ModulWood team is made up of engineers who have put their ten years of experience in the general design and general construction market to work in order to revolutionise the residential construction market with a new technology. The aim is to create sustainable, technically and architecturally high quality residential buildings, with interiors that are on the scale of a liveable family home, but can be prefabricated and delivered in a factory environment, thus achieving an optimum price/value ratio through controlled quality assurance and cost-effective production.
With the traditional construction values in mind, we use dry construction technology, with the advantage of no weather-dependent, wet curing time and no high labour intensive construction on site.

Thanks to our unique modular system, we can be both flexible enough to accommodate individual needs and be able to build with optimal speed.
Our modules are big enough to be installed fast and small enough to be transportable and to make us possible to build virtually anything.

Not a light paper house. Heavy module.
The average mobile house is essentially a stylised construction container, which, because of its size, is not suitable for family living. Conventional prefabricated houses are on the other hand generally lightweight, timber or steel-framed wall panel systems, which do not have very good thermal properties, as they lack the mass of the wall and therefore have no thermal storage capacity. On the other hand, they do not include the finishing work, which means that they do not address the main problem of conventional construction, leaving the construction time and costs uncertain, with a high on-site labour requirement. In contrast, the ModulWood Modular System© is:
- A heavy structure, a module weighs between 2.5-6 tonnes
- A solid CLT wood support structure
- Not a panel mounted design, but a design built from modules
- Not mobile, but can be expanded modularly
- Comparable in weight to bricks and ytong
- A dry construction technology, not wet like traditional construction

We produce everything in our factory
Our production hall is equipped with one of the most advanced CNC joinery and carpentry technologies in Hungary, with a unique production line designed for the MTR© system. Thanks to this, the production line has a capacity of 2 houses per week at full capacity. With the MTR© technology, a complete family house can be assembled on site by the ModulWood Builder Team specialists in 5 working days. We can therefore commit to delivering a turnkey family house to our customers within up to 6 months from the date of order. Robotized production guarantees consistent quality, resulting in a precise and accurate final result.

The advantages of MTR© technology
The disadvantage of traditional, essentially wet construction technology is that it is very highly live labour intensive, due to the time required for construction and technology, it can only be built slowly, making the time and cost of the investment difficult to calculate. The prolonged investment is exposed to the weather conditions, the rising building material prices, inflation and the varying quality of workmanship. This is an additional burden and stress for the investor, which is difficult and requires large sacrifices from a family.
